PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGERAs a Public Relations manager, you will work directly with news reporting agencies, sports reporters, and online racing forums and websites. The Public Relations manager will maintain the public image of Natural Bridge Speedway through writing articles summarizing each event, writing articles promoting upcoming events, and working directly with the public and other local organizations.
A Public Relations manager at Natural Bridge Speedway will work no more than 10 hours each week while in season. There are no education requirements. If you enjoy writing and you understand and love racing, applying for this position may be a good move forward. |
SPONSORSHIP DIRECTORAs a Sponsorship Director, you will work directly with various local, corporate, and online business to promote the benefits of our sponsorship program. You will meet with appropriate staff to discuss ways to maximize all partnerships and to review the status of current relationships.
A Sponsorship Director at Natural Bridge Speedway will work, on average, 15 hours each week. There are no education requirements, however experience in sales is required. This is a position that requires much independence. If you love sales and communicating with others, this could be your position. TECH INSPECTOR In order for any racing to be enjoyable, it must be fair. Natural Bridge Speedway has rules in place for each class for this purpose. It's the Tech Inspector's duty to make sure each of these rules are followed. You will work directly with NBS racers and their racecars for inspection purposes. You will have the authority to penalize drivers if your inspection determines the rules have not been followed.
A Tech Inspector at NBS will work on race nights, an average of 7 hours. There are no education requirements. Experience around racecars and within the racing industry is required. Experience as a mechanic is preferred. If you enjoy working on all types of racecars, this position could be for you. |
EVENT ANNOUNCERThe Event Announcer is an important position in order to carry out a succesfull event at Natural Bridge Speedway. As the voice of the speedway, you will be on the microphone, talking to the fans and racers making each and every event memorable. Interviewing drivers, participating in advertising videos and audio, and fueling each and everyone's adrenaline, this position is one that will have everyone looking up to the Timing Tower.
An Announcer at Natural Bridge Speedway will work on race nights, an average of 7 hours. There are no education or special requirements. If you enjoy talking and being in the public's eye, have a strong voice, and understand racing, this could be a position for you. |
